Exciting news!

Good afternoon! So I have successfully completed my first 3 days of my new job at Mac! It's been another very busy week with trying to juggle 2 jobs and also trying to celebrate Halloween! As for the Mac job I am loving it! It's a very hectic job and you are literally doing 10 things at once but when I get the chance to do a makeup application on a client I am so happy! I will keep you all up to date on some of the things to come with the job but for now there's nothing much more to add :) hope you are all enjoying your week! I know here in Toronto the weather has been terrible because of hurricane sandy but I hope everyone is safe and can try to enjoy the final days of October!

Bath and Body Works Candle haul!

Good evening my lovely readers! I thankfully got to enjoy a couple of days off of my two jobs to relax! Now of my versions of relaxing is shopping! Haha no surprise! So although I did splurge on some candles I did also buy a couple of other things I did need. I bought a black belt and some black flats with some gold details from the jcrew factory, a pair of patterned tights from h&m and lastly a workout top and sweater from the gap outlet! Now for the bigger purchase I made! I had to stop by BBW (bath and body works) of course to do some last minute stocking up on my favourite fall candles and some others I love! So here is the list with the names! In the 3 wick I bought lavender vanilla, leaves, cider lane, and vanilla snowflake! In the small candles I bought cinnamon sugared donut, pumpkin carving, pumpkin cupcake, autumn day, and French baguette! I mentioned leaves and cinnamon sugared donut and pumpkin carving before. So I will talk a little about the other scents! Lavender vanilla smells exactly like the name, no need to further explain haha. Cider lane to me has an apple and Carmel scent but is a little heavier on the apple with just a hint of caramel! Yum. Vanilla snowflake to me smells like vanilla with a hit of coconut! Pumpkin carving is just a sweet pumpkin scent! Autumn day smells like apple and maybe a hint of mint?! But when I had my nonna smell it she said it reminded her of a cigar! Haha. Lastly, French baguette! It is exactly what the name says, it's as if you are walking into a bread shop and the smell of fresh French bread is lingering all throughout the bakery! So delicious! So that is everything I have bought lately! What are your favourite scents from bath and body works?

Fall time🍂

Good evening! As many of you may not know I live in Canada. Around this time of the year fall turns into a cold winter pretty quickly! So unfortunately fall doesn't last too long. However the last few weeks have been absolutely Devine! The beginning of October was thanksgiving and thankfully the day was beautiful! The sun was shinning and the turkey was delicious! After thanksgiving there was a week that was freezing! But this week was stunning :) I will include some pictures of the walks I took with my puppy because I just love the trees this time of year! I also put my puppies pumpkin costume on a little early just to take some photos with the pumpkins :)
What's your favourite thing about fall?

Body shop haul!

Good evening all! So today was a very long day at work but since I have a couple of min of down time I decided to blog about some of the recent purchases I made at the body shop! Since its the winter time I feel my skin getting at lot rougher and drier! The body shop has amazing body butters and seeing as they have a sale going on I decided to make some purchases! So I bought 2 body butters and 1 body scrub! It was buy 2 get one free, and I believe they were all 19$ each. I got a Shea body butter and a chocomania in both the body butter and scrub! They both smell amazing, especially the chocolate scented one! When you mix the scrub and body butter together it's VERY moisturizing! I highly recommend all these products!

Time flies!

Wow! I want to apologize for my lack of blogging the last couple of months! Things have been uber crazy in my world, both work and personal! In one of my previous blogs I mentioned my excitement about an interview with mac cosmetics! Well two interviews and two months later I was offered the job! My first day starts next week along with my first training day! Now along with that, I have also been working crazy hours at my other job at the bay! I'm hoping to get into the swing of things again because I love blogging about the things I love! This is my favourite time of the year and its a shame I haven't been able to blog about it yet! I have a few reviews and hauls coming up so keep on the look out for them!

Mac style seeker blush review/bath and body works fall candles!

Good evening everyone! Not too long ago I was out and about not intending on making any purchases! That idea didn't really work haha. So I made a quick stop to Mac and to bath and body works! Two of my favourite stores in one day!
From Mac I purchased the blush supercontinental which is just a peachy coloured blush. At first when I saw I was a little iffy about how the colour would look on my skin, but when the artist applied it on me I just fell in love! I had to buy it! Pictures of the blush will be below! However if you get a chance to see it in stores please do before they sell out! Now what I have noticed about this blush is that it has fall out in the pan when you swoosh your blush in it, so some pigment may fly around a little! This however does not effect the actual blush itself and is perfectly fine!
Now for bath and body works, I purchased three of the small candles because they were on sale 3 for 20$! The three scents I purchased were nutmeg and spice, pumpkin cupcake, and leaves! I had a chance to light leaves today and it gave my room a warm scent of cinnamon apple cider! It reminds me of Christmas tree shopping at the lot we go to with my family :) nutmeg and spice smells like a chai latte made with soy milk (yes I feel the soy makes it smell different! Haha) from Starbucks but with a hint of vanilla! Lastly is pumpkin cupcake which smells identical to what you would think a pumpkin cupcake would smell like! It has a hint of extra cinnamon but is not too strong for my liking. So just imagine a pumpkin pie in the same room as fresh made cupcakes!
I just adore the smells of fall because they remind me of amazing memories throughout the fall and winter seasons! Anyone else have candles remind you of special memories?
Hope to talk to you all soon,

Revlon review!

Good afternoon!
As you may know from one of my last blogs, I had asked one of my friends who was going to NYC last weekend to pick me up the revlon just bitten kissable balm stains! She could only get her hands on two of the ones I asked for but none the less I'm glad I got them! Unfortunately in Canada they still have yet to come out so that's why I was really excited about them!
The two colours she got me are honey and smitten! Honey being the lighter peachy colour and smitten being the darker pink colour!
First off when I swatched them on my hand, I loved the colour payoff and how moisturizing they were! However one thing I didn't like about them was the scent. Now in the revlon lip butters they don't have a scent which is fine (however I do go crazy for those fruity scents!) however in the just bitten balm stains they smell like plastic! Yuk. Now I'm still going to use them because I think the colour is great and they are very moisturizing when you put them on, but after about 30 min the moisture went away. I don't believe that they are meant to be as moisturizing as much as they are supposed to have the colour last a long time. So if that doesn't bother you then this product will be great! If you want a stain you can simply apply the balm stain and then apply a clear moisturizer because it does tend to dry on the lips after a while.
I also want to mention that when I applied it to my lips, it gave a little bit of a tingling sensation like a lip plumper would give. But after 5 min that feeling went away.
Hope you found this review helpful and I hope to talk to you soon!

How cute is this!

Good evening!
The past few days have been just crazy busy! For some reason, everyone I know seems to have some sort of gathering going on! On top of that I have been working, so sadly I haven't been able to blog as much as I'd like. However! I have found some time to browse through websites and while I was on forever 21 I found a really cute outfit! I decided to find pieces that were either the same or similar to the outfit I found!
As for my own personal style, it changes quite a lot. Although, if you read the blog Icovetthee, I love love love her style!
So as for this outfit, it does not have anything to do with the blog I mentioned, but I thought it was so cute for wearing casually in the day! I also paired two different shoes that I adore, and two different necklaces depending on style preference!
All the items in the picture are from forever 21 if I forgot to mention it above!
Hope you enjoy!

What I wore

Good afternoon my lovely readers! I have some very exciting news for you all. As some of you may know, I studied cosmetic management in college and graduated last year from the program! Since that Time I have been doing makeup for weddings, events, and small fashion shows! However, I have been searching for a permanent job in the cosmetic industry working for a company! (now here is the exciting part) I had a interview with mac cosmetics yesterday! *jumping up and down!*
There was 4 girls in the interview, and the manager basically just asked us typical interview questions! This was however my favourite question she asked. "what Is the difference between a makeup artist and a Mac makeup artist?" the 4 of us girls actually all had to take a few seconds to actually think that one through! Haha. Now the manager is going to be calling 3 of the 4 girls back for a second interview of applying makeup next week! *crosses fingers!!!* I will keep you posted about the whole process! Now as for what makeup I wore!
On my face I wore my revlon and my shiseido foundation, along with my ma studio fix powder foundation for a flawless look! As for concealer I wore NYX yellow as a base for my Mac liquid concealer. On my eyes I wore wedge, brule, and charcoal brown! Then I used my benefit liquid liner and did a cat wing. I also applied a set of natural lashes to make my lashes appear fuller! I applied 2 coats of Lancôme doll lash hypnose mascara. On my cheeks I applied bronzer to contour my face and also fleur power blush by Mac! For lips I applied new York apple and desire for some dimension :) wow! Thats a lot of makeup! Haha
Hope you are all having a fabulous TGIF! :)

Port credit

Good evening my lovely readers! It feels like today has been taking forever to get by! But I finally finished work for today and now I get to relax before going out with some friends to demetres! I wanted to mention this beautiful place called port credit that I went to last night with one of my friends. It was so pretty! We first got some ice cream ( I went for 2 scoops just for fun haha) and then I drove to the port. We just walked around but it was really pretty, especially at night with all the lights on! Anyways my friend is going to be going to NYC this weekend so I have asked her to pick up some makeup items that are currently not selling in canada at the moment so I'm excited to review those for you next week!
Wishing you all a happy seniors day Tuesday!
Hope to talk to you soon!

One of those days

Why hello there my beautiful readers! I was relaxing in my room as I thought why not blog a little? I was very fortunate to have this long weekend off from work so I had a lot of down time to relax and spend time with the family! Today I did a couple of errands with my mum and sister and then watched the Olympics for the rest of the day! I am currently listening to some lovely French classical music while reading one day by David Nicholls, drinking out of my favourite mug and have my new favourite candle lit. You may ask can it get any better than this? I have to admit, I have been a little sad about not being able to travel at the moment (one of my most favourite things to do) however, being in my room and enjoying some of the other little things I love does make it pretty great. It's just one of those days I feel at peace truthfully, which is nice to hear because I haven't felt like This in a while! I hope everyone had a fantastic weekend and may the rest of your week be just as fantastic if not more :)
Hope to talk to you soon!

Bath and body works fall candles!!

Hooray! As you probably already now from the title of my blog, bath and body works have released some of their fall scents. I wait all year round for the fall and winter scents because I prefer the sweeter more sugary food scents. I went on my break and bought two small candles for 2 for 5$. Amazing price! I didn't buy the three wick candles because it was 2 for 30$. So I will just wait for the better 3 wick candle sales. I'll post pictures of the scents if you want to check them out in your next visit to bath and body works! I definitely recommend you go and smell them! :)
Hope to talk to you soon!

Most worn things TAG

Good afternoon my lovely readers! Today in Toronto it's currently raining buckets and thundering so what better way to pass the time then to blog!
I was watching missglamorazzi on YouTube and she made a most worn things tag, so I decided to join along and blog about my most worn things! Now the categories are:
Nail polish
Shoes
Hair product
Bag
Accessories
Clothing
Foundation
Blush &/ bronzer
Lip product
Mascara
Eyeshadow!
Starting with nail polish would have to be Essie sand tropez. It's just such a beautiful natural colour beige that seems to be going with everything I wear! My most worn shoes are my dexter black wedges! They are so comfortable and go with everything! Hair product hands down is garnier fructis triple nutrition detangler! This leave in spray works wonders to detangle my hair before I brush it out! Now because I have very thick and long hair I need something like this or else brushing my hair is very painful! Yikes! My go to bag would have to be my rebecca minkoff mini mac in grey! I purchased it in February when I went to NYC with my friend. It is amazing because it's just big enough to fit a wallet a phone and a lip product but it's also small so it doesn't get heavy when you carry it! My favourite accessory has always been rings. I have been collecting rings for about 7 years now so my favourites change quite a bit, however, at the moment I seem to be wearing my silver ring that I received as a birthday present from my mom and dad last year :)
For clothing I chose jeans. Now in particular my second yoga jeans that I purchased at jean machine. I have never had a pair of jeans so comfortable before and yet are a true pair of jeans! I do have them in black and blue and have been re buying them for about 2 years now. I do wear my black ones almost all the time for work so I did have to re purchase a pair a few months ago because they started fading in the inner part of the leg.
My favourite current most worn foundation and blush are both by Burberry. The foundation is sheer foundation trench no 5 and my blush is light glow russet blush no 1. I love the foundation and wear it all the time because it's so light weight but gives a good amount of coverage! I used to have bad skin and now that my skin bad cleared up a lot I feel that the foundation works better on my clear skin and really helps to bring out my natural glow without making me look shiny! Yay! As for blush I have been going back to this blush constantly just because it really brings life onto my face which I love! The picture doesn't really do justice so I really recommend looking at it in person or on the burberry website! My most worn bronzer is physicians formula bronze booster in medium to dark. My most worn lip product at the moment is Anna Sui in 701 sui rouge G. It just gives my natural lip colour an extra boost of colour! My favourite go to mascara is Lancôme hypnôse doll lashes in so black! And lastly but not least is my Chanel illusion d'ombre in émerveillé! I wear it a lot because lately I haven't been in the mood to wear loads of eyeshadows but this cream eyeshadow is easy to apply and just gives a lovely splash of colour to the lid!
Now I hope you enjoyed this tag and I tag all of you readers to post a reply with your most worn things!
Hope to talk to you soon ,
